Mayday Vacay is a physics co-op boat game from Make It Work. It is not a travel agency, even though a travel site uses a similar domain. On 5 November 2026 the Steam page still said coming soon, with Windows ticked and no price. I cannot tell you a release day because the studio has not published one.

What has actually happened

The announcement post is dated 30 July 2026. A closed playtest started 28 August 2026 and ended 31 August 2026 at 10:00 Pacific. Those two posts, plus the store page, are the timeline. There is no public demo on the store. There is no Next Fest build I can point at. The current listing also has a Request Access button for future playtest invitations; that button does not establish that a test is running today.

What the studio has described

The captain steers and cannot see past the sail, so someone else calls obstacles. Other jobs in the description are fuel, a harpoon for sharks, and a lookout who is mostly drinking. Every part of the hull is a physics object: the boat tips, cargo slides, and water comes in. Sunburn, thirst, hunger, gulls that steal people, and sharks around anyone who falls in are all in the store text. Regions change the problem: cold water wants clothes, a storm wants a steady helm, a fjord wants less speed. Islands are stops for puzzles and supplies, then you go back out. I am paraphrasing the store description and the announcement, not a playtest diary. I was not in the August test.

How many people

The playtest news says an invited player can invite three friends. That is where “1 to 4” comes from. The store page itself does not print a maximum. I am labeling the count as an inference so it does not look like a features bullet the studio wrote. Online co-op is what the news describes. I have no sentence that says couch co-op.

Windows, and the console suggestions

The store record lists Windows. Search boxes suggest PS5 and Xbox. I found no PlayStation page, no Xbox page, and no news post that names either console. Those suggestions stay suggestions. Survival Island is a different, already released game. Protocol is a different, already released game. Vacay does not have a guide page yet because a closed playtest is not enough public material for a walkthrough.

When is Mayday Vacay coming out?
No date has been posted. The store still said coming soon on 5 November 2026.
Is there a demo?
Not on the store page. The dated announcements cover a closed playtest in late August 2026. Steam currently accepts playtest access requests for future invitations.

No official announcement. The Steam listing is Windows.
How many players?
The playtest invite allowed three extra friends, so 1 to 4 is the reading I am willing to print, marked as an inference.
Is it the same as Mayday: The Survival Island?
No. Different studio, different game, and Vacay is not for sale yet.
