Mayday Protocol is a co-op puzzle by Wazang Games, not the aviation procedure that uses the same word. If you came here to learn what a pilot says on the radio, that is a different subject. This page is the game: one person sees the cockpit and cannot solve the panels, and one to three friends hold a free handbook and cannot see the screen. The only mechanic is talking.

Price, date, and who has to buy it

It released on 2 March 2026. On 5 November 2026 the US store showed $7.99 and no discount. Windows has been there since launch. macOS arrived with version 1.5.0 on 27 August 2026. An early press line said “PC.” I am writing Windows plus macOS because that is the current store, and I am noting the older line so it does not look like a contradiction I hid. The publisher FAQ says co-pilots do not buy the game. They open the manual in a browser, a PDF, or on paper. Remote play is fine if you have voice. Sitting in the same room is the version the site calls classic.

What a round asks you to do

The official manual, version 1.1, says a level can show up to 13 puzzles at once and that they do not interfere with each other. The Final Stabilization Protocol has to be solved last. You fail if the timer hits zero or if the mistake counter fills. Those two failure rules are from the manual, one source. There is no official count of how many levels exist, so I will not invent one. Achievements are 11, which matches the store and the press kit. Steam reviews on 5 November were 21 write-ups at 71 percent, labeled Mostly Positive. That is a small sample.

The handbook is the other half of the game

The Expert Co-Pilot Manual is 14 pages and 13 protocols, in HTML and PDF, across 13 languages on the download page (German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, and Simplified Chinese). The game landing page still labels its manual link “10 languages,” and an earlier press note says 11. The download page lists 13; these published counts remain distinct. The quick-reference page rearranges who looks at which column. It does not reprint the manual’s solution tables.

PS5, Switch, Xbox, demo, keys

Search suggestions include demo, Steam key, PS5, Switch, and Xbox. The publisher FAQ says their games are PC games and that they do not plan console versions. I did not find a demo app. A Steam key is just a store key from a retailer, not an in-game redeem code, and this site does not list those shops. There is no code table because the game does not have one.

Questions people ask

Is Mayday Protocol single-player?
The publisher says solo is technically possible and not recommended. The game is built for one pilot and at least one co-pilot.
Do my friends need to buy the game?
No. Only the pilot buys a copy. Co-pilots use the free manual.
Can we play remotely?
Yes. The FAQ allows voice plus the manual. You do not need a second PC for the co-pilot.
Is it on PS5, Switch, or Xbox?
No. The publisher FAQ says they do not plan console ports.
How many puzzles are there?
The manual documents 13 protocols. It does not publish a level count. A single level can show up to 13 puzzles at once.
Is there a demo?
I could not find a demo app on the store or the studio site.
How long is a session?
The studio does not publish a session length. The how-to-play page is a first-round sequence, not an official timer.
